Original thread: FS: 5 string bodies & necks
I bought the black one. It's finished nicely and definitely worth the effort of completing. But after long deliberation (which I should have done BEFORE I bought), I realize I'm not going to keep going with this one, so away it must, this time with the addition of a slightly compromised SKB Freedom case (with a crushed-in foot, so it needs to lean against something, but it closes correctly and protects the axe).
All this bass needs to be eminently playable is a Jazz pickup and/or a MusicMan pickup plus the controls, all of which abound in the marketplace. A black 4-hole Jazz control plate and string-through ferrules are included (in the bag). Tuners are by Wilkinson (prolly the remaining hardware too). Clean, like-new condition. Must sell all together. This is a great platform for 5-string experimentation.
$140 shipped, US only.

I've fielded some PMs asking if anything is wrong with it. No, there is nothing wrong that I haven't stated already. It will make a fine-playing, nice-looking bass for someone. I'm sure the buyer will feel well-served by this deal.
