I've finally settled on a set of pickups for my Fender AmDlx FMT V so I've got two pickups sets left over from my experimentation. Note that these will only fit in 5 string jazz basses with Fender sized pickup routes: Fender SCN Jazz V set (Gold poles) - $100 shipped OBO. Strong mids with loads of punch. "Noiseless" logo on the bridge pup is fading a bit.  SOLD Nordstrand NJ5FS set - $170 shipped. SOLD Hands down the most powerful pickups I've ever used. Very well rounded tonally. These would make any bass a master of versatility. Just bought maybe a week ago.

as I know, the SCN pickups are not the same as the Noiseless
pickups. I believe if your Fender pickups say Noiseless, they
aren't SCN's. (I'm just saying) |

Musiciansfriend and a few other places say they do but I don't want to misleads people into thinking that these are something they aren't if they happen not to be SCNs.
