Sign in to disble this ad
Greetings. I'm bought this bass and decided to use it for a project bass.

I decided to keep everything except the electronics.

What I am selling is:
an older [the 2 band version] Alembic onboard preamp. [I dont know the exact model.. maybe some Alembic experts can fill me in]
two jazz pickups [4string]
input jack
black plastic control plate
three black knobs

Asking $250

MobileMe Gallery

only trades considered would be towards a Boomerang III Phrase Sampler.

contact me if you have any other questions or need additional phots.

Do you know what the controls are for?
1-should be vol'
2- is it vol... or pan... or filter
3- tone.... or filter.
Not sure what you mean by "the older 2 band version"
Thank you!

you know i only played it a couple times and was thinking it was vol/filter/filter and why i called it for lack of a better term a 2 band. but now that you ask i think it was vol/pan/filter.

It should be volume/volume/tone. The Alembic PJ setup I have works that way.

They did at some point, offer an upgrade to separate bass/treble controls for that pre but that would make it four knobs.

Not sure if that's even still available.

It is an Alembic Activator JZ/PVF - volume, pan, filter. The filter is really a low-pass filter and the pot lets you control how much bass frequency passes.
