Jimmy installed this in a custom bass of mine back when he was New York Guitar Boutique Jimmy. It is from the first year or two that he was making them. There are no markings that indicate it as A-C unfortunately. Very pricey to get these now. Snag this for $185. SOLD
I installed this in another bass to check it out and it works perfectly. A-C pre's have an organic tone with a broad range of usable sounds. The bass boost sounds so good I've found myself with it all the way up a few times (how did that happen?)
I think it works best with 70's jazz bass setups, but works with any pickups, including active EMG's.
I had to email Jimmy for the wiring and now know what does what. I'll label each wire for you. Four solders total. Easy peasy. I will include a stereo jack of your choosing (standard or through body, let me know)
