Anvil Style flight case for Jazz bass (One week-ish only)

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm cleaning out my shop in preparation for a move and have some stuff I don't want to move, so this is the first and will be only offered for a week before it heads to Ebay.

Anvil Style flight case made by Sound Engineering Case company in the early 80's. Super heavy duty, piano hinge on the side, 4 heavy duty butterfly latches, Form fit foam on the inside, and only minor wear on the outside. No Stickers or other garbage tattoo'd to it. My understanding is that the last (and original) owner had it made in the early 80's when his band was touring. He received the case, used it for aprox. 3-4 months on the road then the band quit touring. It's been closet stored since. The foam shows no sign of wear, dry rot, or any other disfigurement. This bad boy is built to last and means business. Asking $250 + shipping. Make me an offer I can't refuse so I don't have to ebay it. Sorry, no trades on this one.

Foam?

Is there any deterioration of the foam? Crumbling, dust, dry rot?
Thanks,
Greg

Looks very well built Justin. I wish I didn't just over extend myself spending wise, or I would drive up there and snag this from you in a heartbeat.
