Audere Classic 4 Band Preamp

SOLD

I had this in my lakland 44-01 for a few months but I decided I prefer a passive setup. The controls are volume, balance, high mid, low mid, treble/bass stacked. Comes with a black stacked knob.

$80 shipped to the continental US--money order or paypal echeck.

How transparent is it? Does it require a side route?

I have heard people say it is a very transparent preamp and I tend to agree. I am not exactly sure what you mean by side route; as you can see from the picture the output jack and controls come pre-wired, you just connect your pickups to the wires they provide you and drop it in the bass. I used a soldering iron twice before I put this in my bass and I could not manage to mess it up.

I live right off the I-10 in Avondale, if you want we could set up a time for you to bring your bass and make sure the preamp would fit.

Why not buy the preamp now so you will have an excuse to buy a bass for it?

Not really. There is not anything I am interested in except maybe a really cool distortion pedal.

I have a 80's DOD Tube distortion and a Boss DS-1, the DOD sound great on bass and it goes from overdrive to Fuzz, the Boss, is not that good on bass..
I also have some other pedals just in case you are interested

Thanks for the trade offers, but I am going to leave this a sale item only for now.

I dropped one of these into my 55-01 a bit ago and it's a significant upgrade. I wasn't unhappy paying the full retail for it. This is a great price on a great pre.
