Here's an Audere JZ3-
VB-3B Jazz Bass preamp (Volume, Z-Mode switch, Mid/Balance stack, Treble/Bass stack, LED Battery Meter, & Output Jack) that I bought to try out. As onboard preamps go this thing is the nicest I've tried, but I've become a retro grouch who likes the passive mixing of two volume controls and a passive tone control, so I know I won't use it. I've got the urge to try some different J pickups so this can help pay for them.
This preamp functions perfectly, but I want to point out that the control plate is not the original one from Audere, but an after market one that has a few scratches and has been drilled for the Z-mode switch and LED. Also, I don't think the knobs are the original ones because, as you can see in the photos, they don't cover the shafts as much. This is how it was when I bought it used, so that's how I'm selling it.

As for trades, I'm interested in some Nordstrand NJ4SV pickups, maybe some NJ4SE or NJ4's, but will consider some of the other quality passive J pickups. I'm leaning toward hum canceling models, but I'd consider some single coil models. I can add cash to a deal as needed.
