Audere JZ3 -Vol/Vol-2Band + Tone Deluxe Preamp $125 Shipped

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a like new Audere Audio JZ3D-VV-2B-T Preamp for sale. This has been installed in my Jazz bass for about a year. I have swapped out a few sets of pickups over its lifetime and as such, one of the screw terminals is showing wear but is still 100% functional.

There is no wear or tear on the preamp itself. It is in 100% perfect shape. I have all of the High-Z mode capacitors as well included in the price. This preamp requires a side jack.

$125 Shipped!

Well the bad news, I'll have to close this thread without a sale. Some of the wires that were connecting the jack to the circuit board ripped off while I was uninstalling it.

I'll be contacting Dave about a repair and open the thread when its back to my house.

Yes, but the knob spacing would have to be identical, since the pots are soldered to a board, and their relative position can not easily be changed.

Nice preamp. Good seller.

Yes as he said, it would pretty much have to be the same as a Jazz plate to make it work. However there is a 4 band/18v version that for sale here that might work for you. You can also order configurable models from Dave, he's wonderful to work with.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, this is ON HOLD now.

Thanks for the info. I've looked at the potential wiring configurations on the Audere site, I'm just trying to adhere to my 'everything I buy for my project bass has to be on the used market' rule.

(we'll see how long that lasts)

If only someone hadn't snapped up that Sadowsky pre with the VTC...;-)
