EDIT: i apologize for the confusion. i originally described this unit as the audere JZ6D because i was not with the unit at the time of posting and as the JZ6D is the only audere preamp on their website with the rotary knob and more than a few z-modes i wrongly thought thats what i had (been awhile since ive used all the z-modes). this is actually the JZ5D--the rotary knob has 5 selections for different z-modes. i can only assume this model turned into the JZ6D and was thus discontinued.
hey guys,
the only reason im selling this awesome preamp is i just bought a new jazz bass and its not a deluxe so this preamp won't work for it (the new one actually already has a standard audere in it so im happy).
nothing wrong with it cosmetically and its in perfect working order! very solid, well-built, and easy-to-install. wonderfully versatile and sounded great with my SD basslines, even on my old mexi jazz.
ive seen the normal ones go for $100 shipped but this one sold for more and has additional z-modes, so im asking a little more. $130obo shipped. paypal or local only (portland, or). you think its too much, make me an offer and ill consider it!
they no longer have a description on their web site for the JZ5D but here is its configuration:
"Jazz Deluxe Style +
5 Z-Modes + Single Balance Control.
Volume, Balance, Treble/Bass stack, 5 Way Z-Mode, External Jack."

(stock photo)
it has the
black chrome knobs and external body-mounted input jack. i can take pictures of it tomorrow when i get home. i have 100% ebay feedback (photoresistor) and ive done a few transactions on here, and also on gearslutz (photoresistor).
thanks guys! i might be selling some seymour duncan basslines soon too... am going to do a shoot-out between the quarter-pounders and the vintage voiced ones and sell off the pair i decide i like the least (itll be tough though, i like both)
