These were in my Joe Osborne Skyline 5 for quite a while. One of them has the ears ground down with a dremel in order to fit in the back position. I preferred to do this rather than reroute the bass. Doesn't affect function and when they are in the bass, it's really not noticeable. Great sounding pickups, I just wanted to go back to a more vintage tone. Plenty of leads left, as I don't like trimming leads really short.
There is a little bit of foam stuck to the bottoms of the pickups, but again, doesn't really affect the function.
I believe that these conform to the American Standard Jazz 5 string dimensions.
