For you bass players that walk the dark side, here is a set of Bartolini Guitar pickups. I bought these off of ebay about 6 years ago thinking they were bass pickups. I quickly realized my mistake and was enlightened by an actual guitar player of their purpose. Sorry, I do not know the exact model of these. Accompanying the pickups is what I believe is a TC-5 preamp/booster (thanks to Deepestend).

I happened to run into one of these guys recently (haven't installed it yet) and did some research. It's a handy little thing. That one boosts the guitar signal 2x's but can boot up to 40db. Would make for a convenient on-board booster.
