Bartolini J-Bass Pickups (5 string in 4 string shell)

Sign in to disble this ad
These hummers came out of my old MTD Grendel 5 string. The covers are actually the same size as a 4 string cover. The bridge pickup is longer than the neck.
These have seen their day for sure, and have a chip on the casing (on one of the screw tabs) but the screw will still seat flat on the ear without going cockeyed at all, so essentially it's a cosmetic issue. These sound excellent with a pre-amp. otherwise their output is too weak for a passive system in my opinion.

$50 shipped within the Con USA

Paypal.

Pre-amp pics

As you can see this pre-amp has 3 modules, which makes it *special* as it has the secret MTD mojo tone happening. I will include a wiring diagram with the sale so you can install it correctly. (if you can solder)

I should also mention that other people have successfully changed the mid switch to a pot, not sure how however, but it is definitely doable.
