Do both P Bass necks have standard nut widths and working truss rods?

I'll have to measure both to be sure, but the Squier is a stock neck with whatever width they come as. The Squier neck works fine as i have played it off and on for a couple years.

I really don't know much about the generic one except that the truss rod turns and the pickup works/controls are quiet, etc.
I picked it up about the time i figured out I should quit buying 4 strings and part with several of them since i play my 5 more than 75% of the time.
