BEAD Circle K, 2 Sets, Fabulous Strings-SOLD

Sign in to disble this ad
If you tune BEAD on a 4 string bass, or if you ever wanted to try BEAD, this is a way to do it very cheaply. I have retired from gigging and in the last band I played with, I tuned BEAD and down a half step. So, in my decades long search for the best strings that wouldnt give me a floppy B string, I found Circle K. For sale here is 2 sets of Balanced Standard .150 4 string sets. What that means is that each string has the same foot pounds of pull on your neck. These strings are soft and easy to play on your fingers, even though they are .150 .112 .084 .061. I absolutely love these strings and feel that they are the best for BEAD. You will be very pleased with the tone of these babies. Each set has been used for a very short time and have little hrs. on them. They have been cut to fit standard Fender length necks(my jazz bass), but have tons of life still in them. Since my playing will be classic rock and in my den at home from now on, I am re-stringing to EADG so I want to sell these cheaply to a fellow T'ber who will appreciate a good deal. These strings cost me $41 a set+ shipping. I am willing to sell these to a CONUS T'ber , 2 sets -Sold

Did you have any issue stringing the low b through the bridge?

They are tapered at the end to work with standard bridges. They will not work with string-thru-body though. If you have a standard Fender type bridge, you will have no problem.
