the pickguard is not pretty like the bass. Its been cut in 2 pieces right above where the volume pot is to allow for easier access to the battery without having to take the pre out of the cavity all the time. From far away it looks ok, but once you get close you can see the cut.
so this bass has seen a lot of use. Its not a pretty body.
Its got dings, gouges, scrapes. Its definitely been ridden hard and put away wet.
Once she is done up right, she looks pretty darn nice, and sounds great. up close she is pretty hideous, ummm I mean she has character.
I had a bart /aguilar and emg setup and both sounded sweet.. This was the bar/open mic night beater bass, that I never had to worry about.
Does not come with the badass bridge, this is just for the body.
