Birdseye Fretless Warmoth Neck Tele Headstock

Sign in to disble this ad
***SOLD***I just received this neck on a bass and tried it out for a few days. I'm not much of a fretless player, so I would like to get a fretted neck for this bass. I'm not sure if this would be considered AAA or not, but it has a very nice figure. I'm looking for a fretted tele headstock neck (rosewood board preferred, but not mandatory) or $225 shipped and paypal'd. The decal on the headstock is on top of the finish and removable. Tuners are not included.

I realize this is kind of an oddball item that might be hard to find a buyer for, so how about $175 shipped (conus).

Is the heel (the part that interfaces with the body) square on the end (like early 50's P-basses & reissues with that headstock style) or is it rounded (like the standard P & J necks)?

I have not taken it off to look, but according to Warmoth they only do rounded heels.

I havent ever bought a replacement neck, but would this fit a Fender Deluxe Active Jazz bass?

Just inquiring.

I'm not sure if it would fit that particular bass or not.
Try this link: http://www.warmoth.com/Bass/Necks/faq2.aspx
I have found the Warmoth customer service to be very helpful, I'm sure if you gave them your specific model info they could tell if it would work.

beautiful neck

That is a really nice looking neck. What kind of side markers does it have? Dots in the fret positions?
