I have 4 books on playing Blues Bass Guitar that I would like to sell as a package. I have used them successfully and now want to provide someone else the opportunity to use and learn from them.
The books are:
1. Blues Bass Basics, Steps One and Two by Roscoe Beck. This is a book/CD combo. Roscoe Beck is one of the great modern blues bassists and he does an excellent explaining the basics of blues bass playing with examples of standard tunes.
2. Blues, 10 Complete Scores, a Musicians Institute Workshop Series Book. As the title says, this book has complete scores to 10 standard blues tunes by the original artists: Further Up On The Road, Help Me, Hideaway, I Ain't Got You, Key to the Highway, Lonesome Whistle Blues, My Babe, Rocket '88, T-Bone Shuffle and The Things That I Used to Do.
3. 101 Blues Patterns for Bass Guitar by Larry McCabe. This covers a lot of basic blues bass patterns (basic song patterns in 12/8 time, 4/4 time, basic chord/scale theory, different types of blues progressions), turnarounds and endings.
4. Mel Bay's Bass Blues Bag by Tony Menke. Similar to #3 but different. The two books together give one an aresanal of blues bass riffs, patterns, etc.
Cost is $20 + shipping, CONUS only, shipment via USPS, buyer has the shipping option (Priority Mail, Parcel Post, Media Mail) and all shipments will include Delivery Confirmation.
I have not sold a lot on TalkBass, two sets of guitar hangers earlier this week.
