sorry for the delays. It's pretty simple... I don't own a PC so I was unable to respond about this right away. I am literally vegging at my house until I have to go to work with my only money going to $5 gas money. Work cut my hours just enough to where I have exactly $6 in the bank for the week. I get paid Friday. I realize that some of you have been waiting but this hasn't exactly been my month (bad breakup, destroyed PC, extra car bill) and if I could change it now I would.
Here's what I can do... I can deposit paypal money back for refunds on Monday. Or I can ship express (1 or 2 day) Monday on all pending orders. I would do that RIGHT NOW, but I am on E in gas and just don't have the means at the moment. Unless I can borrow just enough money to ship today... there isn't much else I can do. I'm working on it.

I never "casually" said shipping was free, ever. The buyer has ALWAYS had to pay shipping this whole time on BOTH threads. Just like you said, you "assumed". No biggie, its a book sale not "let's see how Seth can rip people off" week. Please understand I'm human, see money woes above^^^
Shipping books is outrageous in price sometimes, but in your case it was quoted by usps (not me), for 3 books, and it was bc that White pages book is sooooo huge. Which is why its coming off the list. In fact the sale is over after these books are resolved.
The reason you were originally bi-passed, is bc you said you didn't have the money to cover it at the time so you'd wait. I then sell the book to the next person in line and you're mad now? confused....
Pantera is $23 new. I sold it for $13, I don't follow your math there in saying its the same price.
Please PM me rather than make a scene and use sweeping generalizations about what you 'think' happened. I never quite snubbed you in the way you seem to think.

We both have are point(s) of view, I see no logic in the shipping methods you decided to take by charging a s&h fee for each book when you could have gotten a box and some foam and got it shipped a lot cheaper that is all I am saying, I was going to be buying the two heaviest and largest books you had on the auction and it would have been worth both of are while and to save a lot of time and confusion to just go that route and save money in the long run.
If I have hurt you or offended you in any way shape, form, or fashion please accept my deepest apologies. I have yet to make an enemy here on talkbass and I do not want to start now. I just felt some ways and methods you used with me and the transaction at hand really bummed me out. I know you did not have a PC and it must suck to not be able to check into things on talkbass, I enjoy logging on each day and checking to see what is new on the street and to learn more and be a better musician and I hope you woes with computer troubles will turn around. Hope we can do biz. later down the line and I hope there are no hard feelings.
Peace,

Today when I tried to find the thread, it wasn't to be found. I think that was very strange. So, I asked and one of our moderators undeleted it for me.
Based on everyone else's experience, I'm about out of good faith.

Peace,

It's all here as far as I can tell. This morning the entire thread was gone. Couldn't find it through a search either. So, I asked the moderator and he put it back up. This is the whole enchillada, best I can tell. |

He had another thread that got deleted and I was thinking maybe we could pull that one back up as well.
Peace,

Tony | Wow... well considering it should take less than a week for reg. shipping through USPS, that timing is totally unacceptable IMO.
Peace,
