seen the mic so I'm curious is this a portable recorder like a zoom? but looking for sometrhing easy and pretty much just 4-tracks,,

It has a Line In/Mic 1/8" plug on the side. I guess it could be used in a similar fashion as the Zoom H4, but probably not as simple. Never tried.
