PRICE DROP ON BODY AND PICKGUARD - ALSO I'M ADDING A FEW OTHER ITEMS AS I DIG THEM UP...
Looked around in my basement the other night and thought, "I'm never gonna get around to doing all this crap! What was I thinking?" So it's time to lighten the load & restock for a future purchase...probably a completely put-together purchase, if I've learned my lesson. Here's what's up:
SX Ash body, 5-string, natural finish. Has extra bridge mounting holes. In very good condition with some minor finish chips along the neck pocket sides (see pictures). PRICE DROP - $55 shipped.
Aged pearloid Jazz Bass pickguard. Still has the plastic cover on it. Holes line up close but not perfect on a USA Jazz. Color-wise it's a perfect match for aged pearl block inlay on a Jazz neck. $15 shipped. ON HOLD PENDING PAYMENT.
SX pickup covers (chrome neck cover and 'ashtray' bridge cover). SOLD.
White SX Jazz Bass pickguard. Close to new. From a four string bass. $10 shipped.
Jazz-type pickup (4 string - bridge) from a Squier ProTone (P/J). SOLD.
SX chrome bridge, Jazz 4-string type. $10 shipped. ON HOLD PENDING PAYMENT.
Odd lots of tuning machines - sealed grey chrome, 2 L and 1 R $7 each shipped. Ibanez 'sweetheart' tuners (3 total) from an 81 Blazer, also fits Roadstar & others from that time period $10 each shipped.
Random sets of strings -- All 4 string sets, two rounds and one flat, no idea who made 'em, PRICE DROP - $7 each shipped. or all 4 sets for $20 shipped.

Also, is the SX neck a 4 or 5-string neck? I assume it goes to the 5-string SX ash body?

Posting this reply in addition to answering the message...I do have a fully loaded Warmoth PJ body with EMGs for sale: Warmoth/Schaller/EMG P/J Ash Body, Complete
And the fit is as follows: ProTone neck--fits fine, screw holes line up, height OK. Maple Fender(?) neck--fits VERY snug (might need to shave off a tiny bit of the pocket or neck depending on humidity), screw holes line up, height OK. SX--doesn't fit, would need some serious scraping/sanding, don't know about screw holes or height. |
