If anyone is considering them, I can attest to the fact that they sound great and are very quiet, even soloed. At about half what a new set would cost (before shipping from England), it's a pretty good deal too.
They are a bit ugly with the half-worn logos, but with a bit of fine sandpaper, my tech managed to clean them up, matching them to the thumb-rest, and phenolic knobs and fingerboard (Status graphite neck) on my CS relic '64 RI.
