Clear acrylic Thunderbird pickguard

I ordered this from WD Music Products, intending to put it on my 90's T-bird. When it arrived, I realized immediately that it didn't fit. I went back to the website to check, and sure enough, I totally missed their disclaimer:

"Please note that this pickguard will only fit a genuine '63-'66 Gibson® Thunderbird bass. Will not fit Epiphone®."



Anyway, my loss can be your gain. This is still in the clear plastic bag exactly as WD sent it to me, with protective covering on each side, pristine - I didn't even have to take it out of the bag to tell it wouldn't fit. New from WD, this would set you back $44.95 + shipping. My price: $30 shipped to the lower 48.

Correct, it will not. Why they only offer one that fits '63-'66 models and not the much more common modern ones is beyond me.
