Some Fender guys are going to have a conniption when they see this.
Started out as a black "punk rocked" (stickers, burns, gouges) '76 precision body. I stripped it and brought it to a wood shop to have the following done:
-- Planed the top down
-- Bookmatched Walnut top added
-- 3 Chambers routed above and below the middle section, one in the upper horn area, one above the pickup and one in the lower horn area.
-- MM humbucker route
-- Rear control cavity routed
-- String-through-body drilled
-- Light Nitro satin finish
-- Now weighs just under four pounds on the analog bathroom scale. (FWIW)
the neck route is factory Fender.
I know this is an oddball so let's say $195 shipped. Someone will get lucky.
I'm including the clear MM pickguard shown in the photos.

It originally sported a Wenge/Ebony Warmoth unlined fretless neck, a custom shop duncan MM and Alleva-Coppolo pre. But I just couldn't leave well enough alone and now I need a more powerful head, so...
It is hard ash under the walnut cap.

I have a Warmoth fretless neck that would just sing on that body... and I've always wanted to try an MM pickup.

This is on hold pending payment.
