Just put a set of these on my bass just long enough to know these are not for me. They've got less than 30 minutes of play time. Nice punchy type with lots of sustain but too much mid honk for me. I know there was a 45% off sale recently on Dean Markley strings at stringsandbeyond.com recently. So first $13 gets this like new 5 string set shipped anywhere CONUS. They were string on a Tobias 5/3 headstock with 34 inch scale.
