OK, I've had this for a few years now and keep saying I am gonna get a new body and pickguard but I could use the money right now...
Long story short, I bought this bass new, played it maybe 10 hours tops, gigged it wasted and pulled a Pete Townsend on it (stay away from substance abuse, kids). The stupid stuff I used to do... I'm almost embarrassed to post this on here but at least I can laugh at my earlier idiocy.
It still plays fine (one of the EQ pots came unattached from the wiring but that's it). The neck is perfect. The pre-amp is in tact, the hardware is like new, noiseless pickups, and whatever else is stock on these It just needs a new body and pickguard (minor details).... and an hour or two with some tools. Or duct tape. Lots of duct tape if you're the punk rocker type.
FYI- the neck on this is Jazz specs. This is great for you SX modding folks
