The BP8 is DigiTech's first preamp/processor dedicated exclusively for the bassist. Don't let its compact size fool you, the BP8 delivers professional quality sounds unlike any of the other floor bass processors. A full function compressor, tube and solid state preamp, 4 band EQ and selectable notch filter provide all the control you need for virtually any bass sound imaginable. Add to this the myriad of studio quality effects DigiTech is famous for and you have all you need in a rugged road-worthy design. Give the BP8 a listen and find out the easiest way to expand your current bass rig.

The BP8 was crafted with the same attention to detail as DigiTech's top-ranked guitar processors, and is capable of delivering the highest-quality professional bass tones available. A fully-programmable analog compressor, choice of 12AX7 tube or solid state preamps, four-band EQ with two sweepable mids and adjustable Notch Filter all enable the BP8 to offer a stunningly versatile array of sounds.
The bass processor also features a myriad of studio-quality dedicated bass effects that DigiTech is famous for, including Auto Wah, Chorus, Delay, Detune, Flanger, Noise Gate, Phaser, Pitch Shift, Reverb, Tremolo and Wah, as well as an on-board continuous controller pedal to modify effect parameters in real-time. Add to this a rugged metal chassis, integral chromatic tuner and 40 user/40 factory presets, and the BP8 becomes the easiest way to expand a bassist's current rig.
The manufacturer's suggested U.S. list price on the BP8 is $449.95.

This is my companion at every live show. It's built like a tank and full of useful, user adjustable sounds.

Does this have 1 or 2 inputs? Can it work as a switcher also?
