Why are you selling them? Don't you know anything else on your bass will be inferior?

Would you consider taking any less? I'm not in real desperate need of them right now, so it's hard to justify buying them. A deal sweetener would help.

I'll give you that. I'd pay $245 for them if I needed them bad enough. I'm just saying, I already have 2 basses with them on it and since I don't have an immediate use, I can only justify paying a close-out price for them if he can't find a buyer. I hope they go to a good home. They're awesome pickups. The best P-bass pickups ever, no question.

I'm asking just over 1/2 the new price of these pickups because they have a very small blemish. I'd say that my price is already more than fair.

It's been a while since I've had them installed but I remember them being deeper than my stock P pickup. I'll see if I can dig up some of the old clips I made.

With the white cases, these pickups look killer on an all black bass.
Unfortunately I didn't have it in there long enough to get a good feel for the tone.

Me neither. I started talking with John Worrell around the same time I used this pickup. In short time I had some of his pickups in my P that did everything I wanted and a little more. I just bailed on the thing. All I can say is that John's pickups and this DP127 are the only ones that every made me believe this bass had any low end to it.
