Folks
I have 4 Sets of Dunlop Nickel Bass Strings ... new in the box!
They are the med-light guage 45-100 (obviously for a 4 string)
I also have a 5 strings set in light guage 40-120
$50 shipped for the 4 sets of the med-light 4 string
And if you like I can throw the 5 string set in for $10 more (total for everything = $60)
As stated they are brand new.
In my opinion ... these strings embodied the feel of the DR Sunbeams (which I loved) but gave just a tad more resistance. I had the tendency to "crush" the tone and strings on the neck with the DR's when playing aggressively due to the round core. These have the same wonderful tone but fight back a little. The D'Addario's have just a bit more resistance that the Dunlops and to me are a bit darker .... but I've been using them since the 70's so it's very easy to switch back. |
