I looked at the site and it seems that this is not soley religious oriented, pretty diversified. Is this correct?

That's correct. It's pretty diversified. Norm is the bassist for Lincoln Brewster and it mentions use in a worship environment, but the main focus is on playing skillfully. There are times when he does mention heart attitude and such but most is just lessons on playing. He covers quite a bit of ground, going into styles and modes. The section on locking in with the drummer is especially good.
