Eastwood/MyRareGuitars Mosrite-ish Bass Pickup w/ Mounting Ring

I bought this a couple years ago thinking I'd use it for a beatle-bass rehab project, but the string spacing is a little wider than the skinny Hofner spacing. Pickup is brand new in original packaging, with mounting ring and hardware. Still has protective plastic on the face of the pickup. Reads 8.3k on the multimeter.

What is the string spacing and is it neck or bridge?

Center-to-center is 4.9cm, edge to edge is 5.5cm. I emailed Eastwood about the neck/bridge question (the pickup isn't marked), and they said they use the same pickup for both positions.

Bummer...don't look like it will fit.

I am in need of some pickups for a Gibson Victory project that I'm working on. String spacing is to narrow.
