Electro-Voice and Eminence 15" Bass Speakers FS/FT

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD

Cranky back muscles have requested that I get lighter bass speakers. Up for sale or trade:

Electro-Voice 15B 15" Bass Speaker
8ohms
Unsure of wattage (I know that these came in 400w versions; not sure if they made 200w models as well. I would assume that this is a 200w model to be safe)
Works properly
$75 + shipping
$50/local

Eminence 15" bass speaker
SOLD

I think that both speakers sound fantastic; I only replaced them to lighten up my cabinet load.

trades considered:
Vexter Fuzz Factory or other fuzz pedal(s)
Prescription Electronics Depth Charge
Tech 21 Leeds, Oxford, Red Ripper, or XXL Bass
Voodoo Lab Superfuzz
Altec-Lansing IMT620
Aguilar Tonehammer
Gallien-Krueger 400RB
Ashdown EVO 500
Dave Smith Mopho
Other analog synths
Microkorg XL
Korg Sound on Sound recorder
Digitech Jamman Solo or Stereo

I have played through EVM-15Bs in the past, and still have a cab with an EVM-18B. These are old-school speakers compared to neos, but the tone is simply it for bass in the right cab designs.

Yup; the EVM 15B and the Eminence Neos are quite different. I prefer the sound of the EVM-it's no contest-but the Emi Neos still sound good and they're so much easier on my back. I'm just old enough to the point where my back takes priority over my ears.

Anyways, I still have another EVM 15B lying around in case I'm doing any recording and want that sound.
