Electronix Submarine Pro Bass Preamp MkIII

Sign in to disble this ad
$60 Shipped and insured via UPS Ground.

Basically the Submarine takes whatever tone you feed to it and makes 'more' of it.
A big wad of volume boost resides in the volume knob.
Boosting the bass still retains high end clarity. Boosting treble still retains low end.

Overall a nice 'always on' pedal to have. Settings to use depend on what tone you personally prefer.

As currently living on my pedal board:

Call me ignorant on the subject, but what do you really use a boost for? How does it affect the tone?

Fuller, meatier... just more of whatever is your tone that you like. Actually kind of hard to explain. The Submarine's are very clean and clear sounding while doing what they do.

Personally I use the submarine at unity gain, meaning I do not use it as a boost, but I use it for what it adds to my core tone. After I had it a few days it became an 'always on' pedal for me.

It really is a great always on pedal. For the price, you can't go wrong!

Free bumpage.
