Since EMG's are blade style they will work for a 4, 5 or 6 string as long as the dimensions are the same. Do you have measurements or at least the model of them?

I don't really want to open the package and don't have any available to check out. I'm assuming as you say they're for any no. of strings. I suppose an email to emg or a dealer would answer the question.

Just heard back from a factory rep, and the J Set, as they're called, is just a straight bar configuration, so as long as the route is the same size, they will work as a 5 string set. The width is 3.6 at the neck and 3.75 at the bridge.

The new price is $110 delivered to the lower 48.

I have some of these in a fretless. Great pickups. Much warmer than other EMGs.
