These were installed in a 4 string Jazz Bass that I bought off one of our own TBers just recently. Here's the thread:

The pickups sound awesome but I decided to go back to passive after I got a great deal on some American J's.

Comes PREWIRED WITH HARNESS (battery not included)! The pots and jack are new CTS and Switchcraft. Just need to solder the bridge pickup back in place. I don't have any appropriate length pickup screws though.

$65 or I'd also consider a trade for passive Jazz bass pickups or a Sansamp DI.

I've got pickups in my MIJ Fretless Fender Jazz you might be interested in. They're not the original pickups (I think) and I'm not sure of the manufacturer but they sound great. There is some wear where you adjust the screws on the plastic bit where someone apparently tried to use a bigger screw driver to adjust pickup height. 100% functional. I've had this bass for 6 years and never had a problem. Just looking for something different.

Bump... Will consider trades for effects pedals, J pickups, sansamp...
