This has been here for a little while now. And, being honest with myself, I still want a p-bass, I'd probably just spend the money on a different used precision anyway. Let's keep it in the family.
Before my issue was that my beloved J was without a neck, but it's back, so I'm willing to part with the P neck now. So the below still applies, but now it's a full bass with newish d'addario stainless strings and a neck that plays like butter. I've had some trouble photographing it because it's so darn shiny, but I'm going to try again tonight. Comes with the SKB-style case these shipped with. I'm looking for $750 sold outright BUT I'd REALLY like to straight up trade for another newer P-Bass, as in '08 and newer. I'm not picky about color. Just looking for some throaty pick-tone.
Best,
Chris -Loaded 2008 MIA Fender P-bass body
I picked this guy up on ebay about a year ago, added an aguilar OBP-1 with stacked v/t, Treble/Bass with an on/off throw switch. Looks almost stock this way. Note: I almost installed a blue LED 'on' light to make it more mid-heavy. Almost. Specs:
2008 American Fender P-bass body, Black
-SD Quarter Pounder (or stock pickup, pick one)
-Stock bridge
-Black/White/Black Pickguard from WD Music (stock w/b/w also available)
-OBP-1 installed by 30th Street Guitars in NYC. They did amazing work 18v system with 2-battery box installed on the back of the bass.
-Stacked controls V/T and T/B +on/off toggle
-Black straplocks. Stock chrome strap pins around here somewhere...
Haven't weighed this, but it's one of the lighter basses I've ever owned, which was really my only problem with it. I'm young, I have a strong back, heavy basses please!
Looking for $750 + Shipping for this one. It's served me well. -Eminence Neo 12" speaker--SOLD
Pulled this speaker from my 8ohm Avatar cab when my brother's boss offered to tune it. Perfect condition, shipped in the box the new speaker shipped in. Here is the description from the Avatar website, which I find to be mostly true. "The new lighter Eminence NEODYMIUM MAGNET 12s. (New Dynamic Metal) Neo magnets are much stronger than standard ferrite magnets so less is needed to achieve the same magnetic flux...therefore lighter. The Neo cab is rated at 500 watts. The B212 NEO has great low end and punch. The U.S made die cast aluminum framed Neo 12s also have a little more mids and fantastic upper mid clarity." $70+actual shippingsold
