F/S 89-91? 57 reissue p bass body loaded
hate to do this but i need a new rig!!
this is a USA 57 Reissue body
i bought this bass new and its been through the ringer with me, countless hours of sweaty frat gigs all through the 90s and everything else you could imagine!
it was originally this color when i bought it but i stripped it back then and put a jazz pickup in the bridge area but a few years ago had the hole filled and it refinished and relic'd to its original color ( i was trying to make it look as if i never stripped it) any the job turned out awesome and it would make a sweet build for someone looking for this vibe.
the pickup is a fender custom shop 62 and overall has been my favorite so far in this bass, including fralin, duncan and a few others that are slipping from me at the moment.
anyway im asking 275.0 for it and please no low ballers, i am a selling sob and would probably sell my own mother but i do have some attachment to this and to me its worth every penny

That is a great looking body. Makes me wish I was in building mode. Hope someone gives it a good home and plays the crap out of it.

Nitro refin? Any marks from the badass bridge on the body?
|midichlorine ||08-19-2013 10:56 AM |
yep, its nitro.
the marks are very slight, hell, you may be able to buff them out.

So what's up w the other jack hole?
|midichlorine ||09-01-2013 09:13 PM |
this was a very common move in the late 80s early 90s
lots of folks added a jazz pickup in the bridge position of their p basses, then moved the input jack to the side so you could run v/v/t in the standard pick gaurd holes.
