F/S: Crafted in Japan 62RI Jazz Neck

Sign in to disble this ad
Just picked up a Lakland Decade so need to sale some items I don't really need.
I have for sale a Crafted in Japan (CIJ) 62RI Jazz Neck w/ Fender Reverse Vintage Bass Tuners. I recently had this installed on a Fender MIM and Squire Classic Vibe and it was very tight but a nice fit on both!

This is how it was listed by TB'er flewis, whom I purchased it from-

This is a very nice neck that's smooth and can be adjusted almost flat and play w/o fret buzz, if you like it flat and play w/ a light touch. That's the way she was setup on my Reggie Hamilton Body I sold recently here on TB. There are no fret issues nor any problems with the Truss Rod on this neck.

As you can see from the pix below, there are additional holes in the rear of the headstock that someone placed there to accomadate the Reverse tuners. They were there when I got the neck almost three years ago (from TalkBass) and have not been an issue and of course are not seen w/ the tuners on. The tuners left very light impressionon the front where the bezels were only seen when light is reflected off of it. They are also two additional holes in the heel that were also there when I got the neck. There is a small ding that was sealed with either an epoxy or poly that is smooth that's not noticable (by me that is) when playing that's located 3-4 inches left of the mounting screw holes in the pix showing the heel mounting screw holes. Despite the additional holes, this is a "Wonderful' Jazz Neck!

The neck was mounted perfectly and tight on my Reggie Hamilton Body and the neck played great. I sold the body earlier w/ the intentions of keeping this neck.

Because of the additional mounting holes, I believe I priced this wonderful CIJ 62RI Jazz neck w/ tuners fairly.

$225 Shipped, PayPal, CONUS only!

Hi 5 Bassman

I have a Pbass that I have already bust two necks on. Hoping that a Jazz would be third time lucky.
How does $180 sound and I pay shipping to the UK?

Cheers Twostring

A terrffic Jazz neck! I had it for two years....wish I had the funds available to get it back! Spend a lot on basses recently!

It's a good deal at the OP's asking price! It's a CIJ 62RI Jazz neck, excellent fretwork, will play nice and flat w/o buzz and has Fender Vintage Reverse tuners, not a Squier Neck w/ cheap tuners! You will be more than satisfied w/ this neck!

BTW, how do you bust up two necks! Brother, sounds like you need a neck made of hickory not maple! Seriously, it is a nice neck!
