sale includes :
DS pickup , original wiring harness from Bayou , pickguard , 1/4" input jack ,
volume and tone pots .
{ i'll be keeping the black knobs ...}

more pictures are available , just ask ...

pickguard has an extra hole , next to the TONE knob .
i filled it with a black plastic cap , and it looks fine ...
body , neck and bridge cover are NOT for sale ...

going back to a straight P-Bass pickup .
the hole will be covered by the new pickguard ...

is there anything about the pickup that necessitates its use in a P bass, or can it be fit to a J? (shouldnt be a prob for a J in the neck position, right?)

Do you have a price for just the pickup, without the pots/pickguard?

don't really know about the fit for a J-Bass ...
i'd imagine you'd have to do some routing .

i've read that the DS would over-power a jazz style pickup left in the bridge position ...

no , i don't really have a set price for just the DS , i just thought this sale would really be about
someone's desire to load their P-Bass with a killer pickup , and have the pickguard and wiring harness ready to go ...
