Up for sale or trade is this Warmoth Swamp Ash bass body, in the '54 p-bass style with contours. One single-pole precision pickup, one jazz pickup in the bridge position. Black 3-play Warmoth pickguard, chrome 2-hole control plate, electro socket jack on side.
Bridge is a Gotoh I haven't been able to find any information about - string through body, roller, with string spread adjustable. Very nice and solid bridge.
Finish is probably clear lacquer of some sort - not sure if it's a factory finish from Warmoth. It's not very glossy, and relatively thin, no poly coat here. Lets the grain of the body through very nicely.
Body is in good shape - some scratches here and there, nothing serious, not in mint condition but definitely taken care of.
The downside? This thing is HEAVY. I don't have a scale, although I can use one if people are especially concerned. I'd guess 10 pounds? Maybe a little more. This is a really dense piece of Swamp Ash, and it has a very focused, punchy sound, even unplugged. Do not look into this if you are not prepared for a really, really heavy bass.

The last picture is probably the closest to the actual color - the pics came out a bit darker than in real life. It is pretty much just a slight tone on raw ash.
In terms of trades, the only thing I'm likely interested in would be a Jazz bass body, preferably ash or something else dense, string through if possible.
I'll let this go for $260 shipped, which is a lot cheaper than Warmoth and includes a top notch bridge and hardware.
Let me know if you guys have any questions, thanks for looking.
