I have two sets of flatwound strings that came off basses I have bought. I'm not a flats player, just prefer rounds...
1st set is a set of D'Addario Flats. The guy had just put them on a Geddy Lee Jazz a week before I bought it.

2ed set is a set of Thomastik Infeld Flats. I just pick up a Lakland DD from a fellow TB'er with them on. Not sure of age, but looked and played great.
