Feeler: Used Undercover single gigbag w/ Lakland logo

This a FEELER for an **SOLD**Undercover single gigbag with the Lakland logo. This is one of the original Lakland gigbags when they were using Undercover as their bag. It's in good shape except the zipper has some problems at the bottom 1/3 of the bag. This zipper doesn't catch down there and it skips in other places too. Then about a 1/3 of the way up it starts to catch. As I said the bag is in good shape and clean with no tears and the padding is like new being firm and not squashed down from use.

I'm thinking of selling it. Was given to me by my uncle who used to play with Savoy Brown. He figured I could fix it. Anyone buying it would have to do the repair. These bags usually go for close to $100 used. I was thinking $60 for the bag because of the zipper problem and the buyer would pay for shipping. I already have another Undercover bag so I don't need this one.

So basically in a nutshell.....all it needs is a new zipper and it's probably just the slider. There are no other issues with it.
It looks like it may just need a new slider and the coils look fine to me. If there is a chance it may need the whole zipper replaced this can be done at a luggage/backpack/outdoor store or even a dry cleaner/tailor may be able to do it that does repairs or even a boot/shoe repair shop. The slider can be changed at one of these places too.

**I just went to my neighborhood dry cleaner which has a very good tailor. He thinks it's the slider (part that pulls) also. The teeth look fine. Since he does clothing and delicate work he does not have the heavy duty #10 YKK zipped that are usually on gigbgs and heavy duty backpacks. So again, looks to be a job for a luggage/outdoor store that does repair or a boot/shoe repair shop.**

Anyone interested or questions let me know. Here are some pix:

Bottom part of bag showing where the zipper won't catch. You can see some skipping also along the zipper. It might just be the slider that needs replacement or possibly the whole zipper replaced. These repairs can be done at a luggage/backpack/outdoor store that does repairs or a boot/shoe repair store. It's a good bag with no other issues and worth the fix.

Sorrentino, yeah, I have seen him play with Kim many times and we've chatted here, too. Great bassist.

My older Undercover bag developed a zipper problem as well. I contacted Undercover for repair info and they said to send it in. They ended up shipping me a new one, though it took a while and a few reminder emails. It was a pleasant free surprise! The replacement had some subtle design improvements.

That's awesome. I already have another Undercover gigbag and don't need this one. I may give Undercover a call anyway and see what they could do or suggest.

In the meantime, this bag is in good shape and is definitely worth fixing the zipper. Anyone intersested let me know.

Not at the moment. Rather have some cash for it. That could change or I may even wind up fixing it myself or call Undercover and see what they could do. I'd rather move it though as I already have a newer Undercover. This one has to be from around '98 I believe.
