Up for sale is a
loaded Fender '62 American Vintage Reissue Body in Olympic White.
Made in 2007 - the date stamp in the neck pocket reads "April XX 2007" and the pots date to '06.
Includes the original electronics - pickups, pots, cloth wiring, etc..
Also includes the original bridge, chrome bridge cover, thumbrest/tugbar, knobs, strap buttons, and screws.
Everything in/on this bass is original USA Fender '62 AVRI parts except the 3-ply black pickguard (BWB). The pickguard is great quality though, and all the holes line up perfectly, including the thumbrest and pickup cover holes.
The original metal shielding piece (shaped like the pickguard) is also included.
The finish is original and it's nitro, so the body has started to yellow a little (like they do). It's more of a cream color now rather than white, but it's not "nicotine yellow" yet.
NO issues, NO mods, NO repairs.
The alder body is nice and light - The bass weighed under 9 lbs. with a neck on it.
Very resonant and it sounds fantastic!
