Fender 62 RI P bass neck-American-Nitro

These are awesome necks, one just sold on here for 550 and i sold one to a tb'er last may for 500$, this one is going to be 400$ shipped, the reason is condition is as follows.

Condition: There is a extra hole for a string tree on the front, there are some minor symbol rash on it , the E tuner is slightly bent, could be bent back easy but I wasnt going to touch it. There is a tiny bit of fretwear on all the frets , the last one having the worst wear , fret 20. The rosewood board around the truss rod hole looks like maybe a small piece of the board chipped off during an adjustemnt and was glued back on? it may never have chipped off it just looks like a tiny piece is glued on. Lastly there is fret spout, if you dont know what that is , it means the frets are over hanging slightly off the neck so you can feel them one you play , not a big deal at all they simply need filed.

The good, its a players neck , I dont see many of these necks for sale and never at this price. Its a fantastic neck , the back of it is super clean. It really has a nice feel and look to it , filing the edges of the frets would make this a fantastic playing neck. If your building a 60's style P , this is your neck.

400$ shipped CONUS-Tracking provided.

Thanks !

BTW the rosewood chip is so small and minor i cant really tell if its a chip , very minor imperfection. The main thing is it needs the frets filed as they overhang slightly and i can feel them with my hand and maybe a slight bit of work ont he last few frets.

a great neck and the price is OBO, send me an offer guys.

Sorry to pollute your sale thread but the neck I just bought was also a "replacement" like yours and it had the same deal with the frets. I bought a really nice file from Stewmac for like 12 bucks, I think, that worked great. One of the guys in the AVRI thread put me onto Stewmac. TB rocks!
