Fender 7250M Strings (Original Formula)

Sign in to disble this ad
I have several sets of the old style Fender 7250M Nickel Round Wound Strings.
These are the ones made BEFORE Fender changed the manufacturing site and formula. All packages are new unopened/unused.

Gauges are: .045, .065, .085, .105

Price is $15/set shipped in the CONUS and PayPal is fine. I would be willing to consider a “package price” for someone buying multiple sets (I have about 8 sets total, all unopened). Selling due to having been converted to the flat side.

Thank you. That cleans me out of 5 string sets. I still have some four string sets left though.

They are similar I believe, but without the tapered aspect to the string. However, I remember trying a bass once with stock 8250's and they seemed brighter or some how different from the 7250's. That was a while ago so I can't be sure. I just don't want to represent them as having the same basic tone as the 8250's as I'm not sure that is the case.

Edit: found this thread (last post seems to be the most informative of them)
7250 v. 8250

Edit #2: Here's another one.
Fender 7250 / 8250 - Hex / Round Question

Thanks for the extra helpful info John. I wanted to try these, but didn't know they were hex core. I guess I'll have to pass.
