Smile Fender American P bass body-Loaded

Sign in to disble this ad
Date stamp says i think 96 on one hard to see but the other says nov 1993, that would make it a really early american standard as i thought they didnt have string through available tell 1995?

Either way here it is , overall its in decent shape no cracks or anything like that. There is some chipping at the neckpocket, someone removing the neck like crap probaby did it.

Electronics- I have no idea if the pickups are original or not they sound nice and have a metal grounding shield under them, my guess is there original as the only unoriginal part on the bass when i got it was the pickguard

Condition- There is an area on the back where there are alot of scratches on the clear, belt buckle i suppose . Other then that and the neck pocket chips its in pretty clean shape.

300$ 280 shipped-pickguard not included

I have sold a highway 1 P body for this price , so i think this is a great price for a standard USA P body.

What can you knock off if I throw in my kidney? Let me lift the couch cushions and see what kind of cash I'm working with.

I do not, however that 62 reissue neck i had for sale sold.

I could bring this body to the shipping store while i take in the neck tomorrow to ship and have them weigh it.

If i did that should I strip all the parts off? or put all the parts on like the knobs and pickguard screws?

Either way (of weighing it) is fine with me. But, I guess in a perfect world, it would be complete, ready to bolt on neck and string up.

I will leave all parts attached, its not going to have a pickguard so you will have to estimate that into the weight, should have it done within the next 5-6 hours.

That shipping store sucked, it was a new one in town. He took the body in the back was gone like ten minutes and was like our scale sucks its 5.5 pounds but maybe a bit off were getting a new one.

SO 5.5 pounds with everything on it , pickguard screws and neckplate, give or take some ounces.

SO with a pickguard, and neck and tuners dependent on waht you use probbaly 8.5-9.5 pound range complete.
