How often do loaded AV bodies come up for sale? hardly ever, not any I have known of. I also priced it nicely, reliable fender on ebay is asking 575$ plus shipping see link
This is a 100% original loaded, nitro finished, American Vintage 62 reissue P bass body, note the wear on it.
one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-USA-62-R...item53e330e4ff 550$ 500 shipped CONUS

A point of reference since these rarely come up for sale. |

More INFO: The bass with both covers on and total complete with strings and all weighed in at 8.75 pounds.
The neckpocket says 19724-No idea what this means
The neckplate said V059493
The neck date is hard to make out but I see august 26 then it looks like a 2 then two blury numbers and a 7, my guess is 2007, the last number is indeed a 7.
Please ask any other questions, i can get more pics, provide pot dates etc. I also would be willing to sell it without the pickups/pots.
Personally I think this is the perfect body for someone loving the vintage P look and sound but cant play these wide necks, a roadworn jazz bass neck would look awesome on this body. I think there is one for sale in the classifieds.
