This body is quite lite yet is also resonant. When assembled, the whole bass was just about 8.5 lbs and had the nice round tone I associate with Alder. Body, but with a little snap to it.

Body will have strap buttons installed. Rear button has been moved up about 1/8th inch as the original screw broke. The color in these shots is a little wronky. It is a trans red showing the Alder underneath. Body has some scars I've tried to show. This one is a workhorse for sure.

Control cavity is paint shielded. Pickup cavities are 'plate' shielded and star grounded to the control cavity along with the bridge ground. There is a lead to tie to the back of a pot from the 'star'.

Better representations of the color. You can also see that while there are scars, it's nothing bad from a few feet out. This one is meant to be a workhorse in some tough bars not a creampuff at the museum.
