Fender Jazz Bass Body - Sage Green !

Sign in to disble this ad
Up for sale, 1 MIM Fender Jazz Bass Body routed for a Fender Deluxe (or other) Preamp and is painted in the rare Fender SAGE GREEN!

Body has some chips and dings but nothing to stop you from building it up and using at a live player for sure.

Originally I built this up into a pretty badass 70s style Jazz Bass (see last pic.) The tonal quality of this body lends itself to modern music and those of you who enjoy that MusicMan Stingray kind of tone will probably be in love at first pluck. If you like 60s kind of tones move along, move along. But if you like alt-rock, step right up.

Note that I am selling the BODY in the first three pics - NOT the bass in the last pic, but the bass in the last pic used this body. Dig?

So there it is, 170 bucks + shipping. Less than the cost of a paintjob, free Fender bass body included.

That body is amazing! I love the color.

I would buy it from you if it didn't have the side jack.

Free bump.

Not really looking to trade, just reduce inventory.

that's beautiful... makes me think of buying it, getting a fretless neck and loading the parts from my Guild Pilot 5 fretless....
I bet I could turn that into a 5....

Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from G.A.S.!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my freaking goodness.

I want to do a J build with a sage green body and a blocked maple neck.

If I could afford it I would have dove on this.

My very thoughts, exactly. THE color.

Yeah....I've been wanting to do a Jazz build for awhile now but after looking here and on eBay for months I hadn't found a body that really did much for me. This one, with that gawd-awful green, just sang out and grabbed me by the....uhm, by the throat.

Don't know how I missed this before, but I'm thinking a blocked neck would be great on it as well. Not sure whether it'll be maple or rosewood though as I personally prefer rosewood necks. We'll see.
