OK so I'm going to unload this.
It's in good condition
The bass comes loaded with the preamp, hardware, and switches - NO BRIDGE
With a pair of Dimarzio Model J pickups with chrome pole pieces.
AND both a mint green and a BLACK pickguard.
AND the original pickups
All you need to do is buy a bound and blocked neck, tuners, and a 5 hole fender type bridge - and turn this body into a dream bass. I recommend an allparts maple bound and blocked neck because you NEVER see these basses with maple necks. http://picasaweb.google.com/michaelhimes/JagBassBody# $250 plus shipping gets it.

1) How much does it weigh?
2) Are the Dimarzio Model J pickups currently installed?
3) If so, was anything done to improve the sheilding when the new pickups were installed (these basses are reputed to be very noisy in their stock form due to inadequate shielding)?.
4) If so, are all the active controls (including the preamp bypass) still fully functional with the new pickups?
5) Will a stock Precision or Jazz neck bolt onto this body with no mods and function properly as is?
Thanks,
Steve |

I've replied to all pm's
Steve the body comes with the model j pickups installed. No additional shielding was needed because they are fully humbucking and operate with very low noise. the preamp and bypass switch are fully functional. this body will mate with any neck that accepts a standard fender neck pocket
I do not have a scale but with a neck it weighed a little of nine pounds
thank you for your inquiry

AND I cannot find the original bridge (pics have a hipshot vintage bridge that I need to complete another parts bass to sell)
HOWEVER - I do have the original pickups and I'm going to throw them in to make up for the lack of a bridge
I'm going to stick with the price though, as these NEVER show up parted out.
