This will make a cool project for someone...I just don't have the time right now...
I bought this on eBay. It was advertised as 1972, have no way of verifying this since the black refinish covers up the neck pocket, but it is definitely an old one and not a MIJ reissue body. The refinish is decent, not glossy but it's tough to notice unless you look at it up close.
There is a large route in the center of the body (Dark Star, anyone?), but it would be completely covered by a Mustang pickguard. The bridge and string-thru holes are still there. Very lightweight.
